hi! i'm katarina. i live and work in estonia where i make mainly comics and animation. i live with my fun wife and two cats. other than them i also really love horror movies and video games hehe
about making a website
social media and the internet as it is now is becoming more and more unbearable, corporations and ads are pressing on and despite everything one begins to feel alienated, lesser than and sad. i really recommend trying to make a neocities website for yourself: it's free to create your account on neocities.org and along with your account you get 1gb of space to host it. for reference, my website as it is now takes up only 16% of that 1gb (the estonian site is a little bigger than the english one).
there's a lot of good advice and resources online about website making, plus lots of cool oldschool internet pictures. most of the graphics on my website are found onGifcities, which gathers different images from long lost websites through the itnernet archive. learning html is done best through making, and by god have i learned a lot through my mistakes so far! creating this site made for a pretty good excercise.
the author of my website's original theme that i built things upon is electric-tenshi, whose page holds a lot of cool materials. finding stuff you like and collecting materials is almost half the fun of it all!
